Rental Period
At Th. & Ch. Kalogritsas S.A., the minimum charge is for a rental period of 48 hours, regardless of the actual reservation duration. The rental period begins upon vehicle pickup. Late returns without prior notice will incur additional hourly charges.
Age and Driving License Requirements
The minimum age to rent a car is 21 years for vehicle categories A and B, and 25 years for all other categories. The renter must hold a valid driving license for at least one year.
Payment
The renter can pay in cash or by credit card upon arrival, or remotely by credit card. All transactions are made in euros. The currency displayed on this website reflects the exchange rates of the Bank of Greece, which are updated monthly. Taxes are included in the final total price (24% VAT).
Insurance Policy
Basic coverage with third-party liability, 24/7 roadside assistance, and windshield protection.
For full insurance that covers all renter needs, we offer ready-made packages including:
A. CDW (Unlimited kilometers – Third-party liability – 24-hour roadside assistance)*
B. Full insurance coverage (Unlimited kilometers – Third-party liability – 24-hour roadside assistance – Own vehicle damages with €500 excess)
*Coverage is NOT valid when driving under the influence of alcohol, on dirt roads, in cases of excessive speeding, or traffic law violations.
Our final prices do not include:
Replacement of lost or damaged car keys, locks, interior damage, vehicle documents, license plates, or costs due to incorrect fuel use. All vehicles must be driven only on paved roads.
Vehicle Selection
The renter cannot choose a specific car from a category. The vehicle provided belongs to the desired car category. In case of unavailability, another car of the same or higher category will be offered.
Pickups & Returns
Free pickup and drop-off is offered at Eleftherios Venizelos Airport, Piraeus Port, Doukissis Plakentias Suburban Railway Station, and our office at 571 Mesogeion Avenue, Agia Paraskevi. In case of delayed pickup or return, the renter will be charged an additional €30.
Reservations
For all reservations, a company representative will send you an email and SMS after the booking is completed.
Booking Confirmation
Your reservation will be confirmed via email within 48 hours of submission.
Traffic Fines
In case of a traffic violation during the rental period, the renter is responsible for paying any fines. Failure to report or pay fines may result in penalties from Greek authorities.
Fuel Policy (Same to Same)
Renters must return the vehicle with the same fuel level as it had at the time of pickup.
Excess Fuel: No refund will be given if the vehicle is returned with more fuel than initially provided.
Insufficient Fuel: If the vehicle is returned with less fuel than initially provided, the cost of the missing fuel will be charged to the renter.
Pets
Pets are not allowed in the vehicle (except for service animals trained to assist individuals with disabilities, with prior arrangement).

Cancellation Policy
The cancellation policy for your vehicle booking is as follows:
Cancellations made more than 10 days before the scheduled pickup time will result in a full refund.
Cancellations made between 10 days and 72 hours before the scheduled pickup time will result in a 50% refund.
Cancellations made less than 72 hours before the scheduled pickup time are non-refundable.
